I need some good software besides itunes to rip cds into high quality mp3s. I want it to be able to tag the files with the song name and albums. What is a good free program out there for this? Thanks

May want to consider http://blacktree.com/apps/iTunes-LAME/ which lets iTunes encode MP3s using the LAME encoder. Why is it exactly you don't like iTunes' ripping?

Isn't it possible to LAME within iTunes?

Edit: Nevermind I confused it with VBR with is available in iTunes.

I guess I don't mind itues doing it. I just want to be able to orginaze them in a folder by artist, then album, then song. I don't want them dumped all into one folder cuz then I put them on a NAS drive and share them with 4 different computers. Some are Macs and some are windows.
QUOTE Thanks
