OS 10.4 - 128mb of ram, will it work?

I want to put tiger on my g3 ibook. I'm buying more memory soon, but for now I just want to be able to install it. I was wondering if there was any way to do this. Each time I get to the hard drive selection for installation, it freezes. Is something wrong with the computer itself, or is it the memory problem. Is there a way I can bypass that for now if so?

You can't bypass the minimum memory requirement. Even if you could, Tiger runs fairly poorly with minimal RAM. You should get a copy of 10.3, which runs like a champ older, lower-spec'd machines.
