on your desktop
the main HD icon
does it always have to be on the far far right?
you can move it around like any other desktop icon.
but as soon as you reboot the icon is back in it's right hand spot.
even if you put a different one in there. everything just..shifts over.

"Macintosh HD" is your main hard drive.

Drives (hard drives, USB flash drives, external hard drives, folders/drives mounted over a network) are displayed as they are mounted, so their position cannot be remembered, unfortunately.
