So, I used the program Monolingual to free up some hard disk space and deleted all of my non-intel architectures (without reading the read-me, of course) and guess what, I can no longer use Rosetta.

Is there an easy way (easier than a complete reinstall) to repair/replace the missing architectures so I can use apps in Rosetta again?

Do an archive and install from your original disks. Preserves all settings, software, etc.

Insert your restore disks. Follow closely and you will be prompted for what kind of install you want. Choose Archive and Install, and make sure you check "preserve user settings" or whatever like that. It will preserve all your applications, settings, etc., but will otherwise restore your system to factory settings. Your photos, docs, etc, will remain intact. It will create a folder called "previous systems" and anything that was outside of your archive will be in there, so if you need it you can get it. Have never needed anything in there, so after a while, when you are sure nothing is amiss, you can delete that folder.

Good luck -- post back with your results!
