The easiest way is to connect both systems using a 6-pin fire wire cable.
Power off the MacBook, since that is where the data is coming from. Connect both systems. Power on the MacBook, then press and hold the t key. When you see the fire wire icon you can let go of the key. Now on the PowerBook which should be up and running. You should find a fire wire hard disk icon of the MacBook on your desktop. Locate the file(s) you want to copy to your PowerBook and drag then over to the place where you want them. When finish, unmount the fire wire drive, by draging it to the trash. Then you can power off the MacBook and power it up again. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain! |
