I was using a friends MacBook and dragged and dropped some files across the Network and an Ext. HDD and all the icons were all bunched up afterwards!
My friend pointed out the Arrange by menu so it was all good. But after resizing the folder, the icons remained like they were before. If you would do this on a Win PC, (2000 up) the icons would rearrange into the new folder size. Also, you have the option to make all the folders look like an specific folder, keeping uniformity across the system (which I use and love). Is there any possible way to do this in 10.4 or in the upcoming 10.5? |

You can adjust all folders to match your preferences by opening a finder window, and then select 'View> Show view options" from the menu bar.
But there's isn't an option to grow the icon size when you resize a finder window... |
