Strange mouse?

its happened a couple of times, when i click my mouse it doesn't do anything exept unhighlight windows if any were, and i can only highlight them by alt-tabbing its really annoying, it does it with all the ones i have every so often and i need to logout and back in before it fixes Tried doing mac janitor, repairing disk permissions and stuff still happens around 2 times a day Any ideas
