Hi, I wonder if you can help.

Every so often when I'm browsing the Net, Address Book will automatically open and at the same time my iMac makes what can only be described as a sort of laughing sound. Address Book will then close or the iMac will become unresponsive so I'll do a restart.

I have no idea what's causing it and can only think that maybe it's Safari doing battle with a pop-up window. Were this a PC I'd put it down to a virus. Interestingly I've never seen the problem replicated on my MacBook.

Any ideas?

Call a priest and have an exorcism done. I would tend to agree if Macs weren't virus free. Keep us informed.
