All right, below is the error I get when trying to change my desktop image or screen saver (not sure if it started after the iTunes update or not), any help is appreciated:

Hi, it looks like a Kernal Panic to me ... don't worry about it for the moment though, we'll try and sort this out.

Basically, your System Prefs crashed due to some complication with the iTunes Screensaver.

I have seen other mention of problems arising out of using the iTunes Screensaver and I recommend you read the following, which comes from Apples website:

Mac OS X 10.4.8: System Preferences unexpectedly quits after configuring iTunes Artwork screen saver

Please report back how you go with this.
