This is what it says on the apple website about archive and install:

"Additionally, in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or later, these items are moved:

/Applications/Automator.app
/Applications/Font Book.app
/Applications/Graphing Calculator.app
/Applications/Safari.app
/Applications/Utilities/Java/Input Method HotKey.app
/Applications/Utilities/Java/Java 1.3.1 Plugin Settings.app
/Applications/Utilities/Java/Java 1.4.2 Plugin Settings.app
/Applications/Utilities/Java/Java Web Start.app
/Applications/Utilities/VoiceOver Utility.app"

But where are these applications moved to exactly?

One would suspect they are moved with your profile to the new system.
