hallo

im very new to this forum and am new to my macbook, black 15'' intel core duo.

i would be very greatfull if someone would explain to me what the plugtmp and msoclip files are that ive found in my trash over the last couple of days. also are there any issues with viruses on these macs?

sorry for the pure simplicity and utter lack of mac knowledge, im learning slowly!

If those files are in a folder named Recovered Files, then you need to read this:

A folder called Recovered Files appears in my Trash

BTW, you have nothing to apologise for .... feel free to ask any question you like ... all we ask is you don't forget that there's a good chance your question may have already been answered before.
