    sleep
    i know that in windows their is a setting that can keep the computer running even if the lid is closed all the way.. I was wondering if their is such a setting in mac so that when the lid is closed i can still be downloading material????

    there is no setting that will do that.. you can download third party software that will allow you to close the lid and it will not sleep.

    after reading the warnings i think i will just stay away from program. Better to be safe than sorry.
