    Backing up the boot disks?

Using disk utility I've made images of the two boot DVDs that came with my Mac. What are the chances of them working if I were to burn them? And then decided to reset my mac?

Hi, As I look see the originalk installation disk it is double layer. (depend what you have) So if you have a double layer boot disk you also need a double layer burner and d.l. DVd as well.
check what O.S you have and what is the size of it.
