hey,
my iMac forget which wireless connection i'm using every time i switch on/off.
is there a place i can preset it always to use a specific wireless connection by default ?

System Preferences-->Network, you will see Airport, click on configure. You can change settings there, including to automatically connect to preferred networks, etc.
