Last night I opened my itunes music folder, I highlighted a song I wanted info on and every single music file I had appeared on my desktop. Now I can't get them off, I close all the windows everything is fine but when I shut down my ibook and restart it they all pop back up again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

so you have copies of every song on your desktop? or are they actually moved?
what did you do to get rid of them? deleted the ones on the desktop and emptied the trash?

Yes I have a copy of every music file on my desktop, 2655 files just staring at me like I'm stupid. I didn't delete them. All I did was close all the windows one at a time, command-w. Should I delete them I do have my music backed up. All those windows on my desktop are slowing my lappy down and I got a show tonight.
QUOTE Thanks
