I don't have a option to change the performance of the process of my imac in the energy saver preference?

Anyone know why?

It doesn't seem to apply to all Macs. Most laptops have it, and my PowerMac G5 tower has it, but perhaps iMacs don't? Do you have a PPC iMac or an Intel iMac?

My Macs: PowerMac G5 Quad, 2.5 GHz, 4 Core, Mac Pro, 3.2 GHz 8 Core, Power Macintosh 7500/100
My iStuff: 32 GB iPhone 4, 30 GB iPod Video, 16 GB iPod Touch

Intel MBP: believe it has the option - can anyone confirm?
Intel MacBook: ditto

As was pointed out earlier in this thread, Intel iMacs don't have that option.
