Thread: Mac OS X Server as Domain Member
04-05-2004, 12:18 PM #1jcarrGuestMac OS X Server as Domain Member
The Mac OS X Server documentation indicates that a server must be a domain member to host network home folders. In addition, to be a domain memeber, the server must connect to a Mac OS X Server PDC, not a Windows 2000 domain.
Can a Windows 2000 (no mixed mode) domain and a Mac OS X Server PDC coexist? Is it possible to avoid having the Mac at the top of the food chain?
