Hi guys,

It seems that my Internet Connect app has become corrupted since updating to 10.4.9 - how can I recover it? Is anyone able to send a copy to me so I can just drop it into place?

Thanks in advance.

Nobody will be able to "send" you anything....and they shouldn't have to.
Have you tried the usual tips and tricks from the Basic OS X Troubleshooting sticky thread?

If worst comes to worse, then you can always install again using your restore media.

Thanks for your reply. Yep, tried all of the usual troubleshooting tips and tricks before posting. It doesn't make sense for me to install again using my restore media - everything else works perfectly. Is it possible to extract the Internet Connect app from the 10.4.9 combo update?

One of the things to try is re-apply the 10.4.9 Combo update (so says Apple).

If you ever need to reinstall an app or something else from the DVD, such as a language package, download the shareware program Pacifist from versiontracker or macupdate. Pacifist peels the DVD apart like an onion and extracts the program packages.

For those whose memories predate OS X, it works like Tome Viewer.

You can run Pacifist to try it; there's a 15-second delay before it starts.
