Change filesystem on external hard drive?Hi!
I have an external firewire drive formatted with FAT32. Now, I really would like to change this to Mac OS Extended or just something else without losing any data. I this possible in any way (doesn't matter if I need to use another OS for the operation)?
Thanks,
William Björklund

changing the file system would include formatting the drive and data loss.
FAT32 is fine for use with OS X and windows. unless you have need for files larger that 4GB, there is no need to change to HFS+.
