defaults write com.apple.screencapture type image_format Where "image_format" is "jpg", "pdf", or "png". Hit Return, log out, log in. I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can. They're - Their - There | Two - Too - To | You're - Your | MAC - Mac I was on the M-F honor roll for October, 2006.

I save as TIFFs personally. JPEG screengrabs are full of artifacts. |
