hi everybody! I just got a new macbook, and I ran out of battery precisely when an os x update was being installed. when i turned it back on, the system was frozen, couldn't do ANYTHING. I restarted and got a kernel panic message, saying I should restart the system. I tried putting in the installation disk from my older mac mini, and I can't seem to reinstall mac os x or eject the disk!I am very desperate, do i have to take it to an apple store o can you help me????
thanks for your time, patience and dedication!!

Welcome to Mac-Forums, sidrosao.
Install disks are model specific which means you cannot use your Mac Mini install disks on your MacBook and vice versa.
So this also means that you need to use your MacBook install disks with your MacBook.
