OS 10.4 - Mail, keychain keeps asking for password

Mac Specs: iMac 20" C2D, 2 Gig.

every time i check my mail though Mail, keychain is always asking me for password, even though i checked the box to remember my password. It is getting annoying especially when my iMac wakes up from sleep.

How can i get rid of this annoyance?

yes, thank you. almost similar, but im trying to access my POP mail. for some reason it always forget my password even if i have entered it trhough Preference on Mail.
