Download won't go to default DesktopHi,
My download window settings are set for my desktop, but whenever I download something it shows up in my Apple mailbox and I cannot open it. Can anyone offer any suggestions to help fix this. It worked correctly, and then all of a sudden, it just started downloading into the mail. ??? I am using an imac with OSx 10.4
TIA.... Jo

I have found the download location to be flaky also. Try this: set the download location to the Documents folder at the root level of your drive. Give that a test, if that works, then try changing it back to the Desktop. It worked for me, although I can't tell you why!

Thank You! Sherman
Hi Sherman,
Thank you very much... It worked... It's so good to have places like this to network on the different quirky things that happen to one.
I really appreciate you replying....
Regards, Jo
