Viewing bbc.co.uk Videos in Safari (wmv)?

Hi All

I'm using Flip4Mac and Safari, trying to watch streaming videos on bbc.co.uk (the news mainly).

Flip4Mac works fine on all the other sites I've tried this on, just not on the beeb.

I /really/ don't want to install Realplayer on my machine if I can at all help it.

Does anyone else get this problem?

Oh, and I can't stream the radio either.

Gah, am I going to have to bite the bullet and get Real Player?

:(

For the BBC site the only way to watch the videos that I found so far was to (GULP) install Real player. I hate it too, but it right now seems the only way for the BBC at least.

It's no where near as bad on OSX as it is on Windows.

Actually Real Player for OS X is pretty nice compared to real player for Windows.

It's just a plain & simple application - no stealing file type association, no hidden background apps, no upgrade nags....

I think they must have contracted it out... :)

Yeah, Real Player isn't too bad on Mac OS X.
