    Startup Disks on Mac OS X
    If I change my startup disk to a Mac OS X 10.4.4 install disc would my files on the previous startup disk be deleted? :black:

    No. Changing the startup disk only specifies where to boot from. It makes no changes to any pre-existing volumes.
