    Going to Sleep ...FAST
I just discovered a neat trick and thought I would pass it on. If you regularly put your Mac to sleep vs. shutting it down, try this:

Hold down Option + CMD and then, while pressing and holding them, press and hold the media Eject key. Don't press it and let go - press it and hold it briefly until you see the mouse pointer disappear.

Boom! Your Mac instantly goes to sleep! Neat!

17" MacBook Pro | 2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo | 3 GB RAM | 160 GB HD roommate and I both have MacBook Pro's and I always thought I saw him putting his to sleep quickly using a keyboard shortcut, but I never really cared enough to ask about it, but thanks...its nice to now a cool trick like that...
