Hi, was wondering if I neede to buy Norton Internet Security for my mac. I have recently seen an advert claiming that viruses etc don't really affect macs, only PCs

I believe that it's just that most (if not all, I don't know) viruses are made for the PC (.exe) and so will not "work" on a mac. But I hear you can transmit the same virus to other PC's.

Plus Norton Security often creates more problems itself than anything else.
