In OSX 10.4.8: How do I remove the Google search window from the top right of the Safari window... it seems to be permanently linked to the address window... so it's all or nothing... I know I can 'shrink' it down... but I want it 'gone'... Thanks
QUOTE Thanks

That is correct. Unfortunately, you can't have it both ways.

What a load of rubbish! I'm sure it was removable in an earlier version! Have Apple done a deal with Google?! What if Google goes under? Thanks for your answer!
