How To Make Icons Bigger

I was just curious if there is a way to make icons on the desktop larger (ie the Macintosh HD)?

is it possible to make just one icon bigger and have the others smaller. Id like to make the HD icon big but have the other icons smaller or "normal" size.

Not without editing the icon seperately with an image editing application.

I accidentally shrunk the icons while holding in option and moving my finger on the trackpad.My mom was a bout to blow. THANKS!!!!!

click on the desktop then hold the option key then pinch/unpicnch the track pad.
