Ok, so I am working on an iBook G4 that had an old OS X Tiger on it. The woman said that she though her hard drive was dead. So i install a new hard drive for her and realize she didnt have th install DVD for her OS. I asked her and she said her son had made a copy on the image on his windows XP box. So i burned it and now i have the image file. i tried to burn the boot DVD out of it but i get nothing. It doesnt spit out the DVD it just takes me to a screen with a small folder that blinks between a question mark and the MAC face. So is there anything special i need to do to get this to boot?

hold "c" down while you boot, to go to the disc. If its a legit back-up copy this will work, if its pirated software you should not even try it and just go out to apple and buy tiger.
