OS 10.4 - Can I use the restore disk from my macbook to restore my g5 tower?

Lost my tiger dvd, just wondering if I can use the restore cds/dvds from my macbook to resetup my g5 tower?

The disks are machine specific, so I am afraid you will not be able to.

Mac Specs: MacBook 2.0GHz White, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD

More fundamental than that, the disks are architecture specific. The macbook has an intel processor, and the G5 has, well, a G5. One simply cannot understand the other.
