I am fairly new to mac and I am having trouble with my Macbook.
I can't copy files on to my macbook from my DVD or my external hard drive.
I am not trying to copy DVD movies. I am just trying to copy files burnt on to a DVD and files from my external hard drive. When I drag and drop, I just get a circle with slash and the icon just bounce back to original location/window. FIles i am trying to copy are mainly avi's and mp3s but text files and smi files wouldn't copy either.

Thanks in advance guys.
QUOTE Thanks
