OS 10.4 - looking for pan usenet reader

I looking for the pan usenet reader I have been to macports I have download the sourse code and get a error on install I have tryed fink and get a gtk error . Can any one help ?

not sure what you mean by "pan" usenet reader.

i use unison for usenet (better for binaries than loads of messages though).

Agreed. I se Unison for binary groups and MT-NewsWatcher for non binary groups. Also curious about what you mean by "pan" as well. If you mean one that is both Mac and Windows, I don't know of any, unless you want to use the built in one in something like Netscape.

You can get Pan through Fink http://fink.sourceforge.net/ and maybe DarwinPorts.
For those who don't know, Pan is a graphical usenet client that runs under X11.

pane is a free usenet reader I realy like and it is free it is made for every thing from windows to linux and mac but I can did find the mav ver. I have email the people that made it 2 weeks ago and have not heard a thing .
