Hi,
new to mac and found this site and I have enjoyed it, I was just wondering, In the monthly desktop picture thread, people are always asking, whats that icon in your dock for where can I get it,what can it do................. Can a thread be set up for this? I think a picture of the icon, a brief description of what it does, and where it can be found would be great, especially for newbies! Thanks, keep up the good work kev |

Hi again,
Ive read through the 5 pages of the thread and to be honest it wasnt quite up to my expectations, there are no pictures of what it looks like in your dock, and also I am very sure that there are more applications out there, not only freeware but software you can purchase, I really think that a thread especially set up for this purpose (with a title that comes up when a search is done!)would be benifical to all newbies, and it would cut out all the questions in the monthly desktop thread, If you scroll through the threads this is the most common question being asked. Thanks kev |

Even easier is what pulse said except after Shift Command 4 press the spacebar, that will turn your Crosshair into a camera and you can just click the icon
Don't forget to use the new User Reputation System |
