Hi there,

I'm new to the MAC world and just bought a MacBook Pro. I'm trying to find out where the configuration files and executable are located for the Apache web server? I have started it (and it works fine), I know where the documents are located but for the life of me, I can't find out where Apache lives. I have tried doing a search for files that I know should be there (i.e. httpd.conf) and its comes up with NO results.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

I'm not on a mac now so I can't look, but did you check to see if there is an /opt dir on the mac? If so, maybe /opt/apache?

Thanks. However, where is /etc/httpd? When I look at my hard drive, the following is the directory structure:

Application
Library
System
System Colder
User Guides and Information
Users

Also, where would I find the apache executable module. I need to know these so I can load information to the web site.

Thanks again for all your help,
