I was talking to someone yesterday and they said they heard that if you do a clean install of panther, you loose the clasic mode... is this true. He said something about having to install 9.2 first then Panther over top?

I just partitioned my Hard Drives ...OS 9 on one volume and OS X on the other, that way if something should
go wrong, I can just erase the volume and start over ...luckily I have had no problems or need to do this.
