i was wondering if its possible to recive a SMS alert from osx, i used to have a widget that could send free sms to people so i cant imagine this would be too hard to do. it would be cool for growl to send you a message when you get a im or a skype call or email so that you cans stay in another room and still keep track of your computer

You can pair your bluetooth phone with the Mac if you have a blue tooth dongle and use Address Book to send and recieve SMS' and initiate calls to people. Works great!
QUOTE Thanks
