Hey I was recently re-watching one of the videos I saw that made me want a mac so bad, but I wanted to know how the guy did some of the stuff.
Video- http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ort+tiger+demo at 29 seconds he opens something that allows him to launch safarie. what is that? at 1 minute 34 (1:34) he zooms in to his curser how does he do that? at 2 minutes 24 seconds. (2:34) he has some slideshow thing playing w/ controls. what is that.. (doesnt look like front row) thats it. Thanks its a really cool video and when I saw it I was like omg omg I want/need a mac!! |

At :29, he brings up a free program called QuickSilver.
At 1:34 he pushes Command+Option+8, which is for the seeing impaired. You can then press Command+Option+Plus/Minus to zoom in and out. At 2:24 he starts a Finder image slideshow, select the files you want to see, right click and click Start Slideshow. From there you can view them as an Index sheet or add them to iPhoto. Yes, Macs are amazing. Another great feature that you didn't catch is at 1:28. He presses Command+Shift+4+Spacebar to take a picture of the window he was viewing. After trying to take a screenshot in Windows, this is one of the best features of OSX. I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can. They're - Their - There | Two - Too - To | You're - Your | MAC - Mac I was on the M-F honor roll for October, 2006.
