OS 10.4 - Settings icon on dock

I jsut bought my first mac, and accidentally dragged the system settings and preferences icon (i think thats what it was) into the trash so it's no longer visible on my dock. I can't find it anywhere in my trash or on my computer...how do i get it back?

It's in your Applications folder, just drag it back into the dock.

or if you want to keep it off of your dock, just go to the apple menu, and its (i think) the fourth one down. nice and handy!

I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can. They're - Their - There \| Two - Too - To \| You're - Your \| MAC - Mac I was on the M-F honor roll for October, 2006.
