Hey everyone, this is my first post here, so i thought i would first say Hello.

Here is my problem. I have OS 10.4.6 and everything works great. The only thing is that when i click the icon for "Macintosh HD" on my desktop the finder window i get is does not look like i want it to. It looks like this:

When i click that icon i want it to bring up the finder window with the nice sidebar and the search box. Anyone know what i have to change to get that window to show up?

thanks,
Matt

EDIT: Nevermind, i am dumb and i just figured it out. Anyway, Thanks for your help anyway.

Click the tiny button on the very top right. This shows/hides the Sidebar. Once you set your Home folder window how you want it, it should stay like that from then on.

Welcome!

EDIT: Just missed your figuring it out yourself... :mac:

I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.
