Well be careful, but you could open terminal and use sudo rm /path/to/the/log/file.log
Or, by selecting the log file's icon you can then use the right mouse button/ctrl click to get the contextual menu, select get Info and down the bottom is the Ownership & Permissions settings. Click the pointed arrow to flip down the options. Click the little padlock against Owner, enter your password and from the drop down list select your user's name and close. You may need to enter your password again, you should be able to delete it now. Vicky |
