well you said disk 1. Can not be multi-disk install. Only one disk.

While we are on the subject. I have a new Intel Imac and want to put boot camp on but all i have is Windows XP Home with service pack 1a. I heard you need service pack 2. IS there any way to update the disk?

i think he ment, when he went to try to install OS X, because you do need the 2 DVD's that came witht the imac. i have installed windows successfully on my 20" iMac and it works like a charm! great screen. I also have 60GB for the windows partion.
