What is the terminal command to view and change the swap space in MAC OS X.The terminal command should not be harmfull to the OS

In OS X the swap file is dynamic. It will grow and shrink as needed. If you'd like to move it to another location ie a different partition you can use SwapSwap.

*note - still in beta

So you are saying that there is no way to change the swap space manually??
