I downloaded a set of black icons from a mac icon website. Is there a location on my computer where all the default icons, for like finder, drives, folders, etc., is located? I want to change all default icons to these new black icons as easily as possible. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

You'll have to do some of those manually or use a shareware app to change all of them called Candybar, I'm afraid. Unless, there is a new way to do this that I don't know about.

the problem with changing icons manually, is that you won't be able to change all in the same way. Some icons (like the finder, network, default documents, folders, etc.) requires you to pass through a long process, where if you make a mistake, you screw your system up. Save yourself the hassle, and go with candybar. Not only is it safer, but a lot easier too. Just make sure you get the full copy (can't remember how much it is anymore), or else you'll only be able to change icons, 25+ times or something...

He who laughs last will often find that he has no one to laugh with.

I've downloaded Candybar and I'm concerned with one thing. Where it says'' Drag any icon to change the current'' with every icon imaginable. Doesn't it change every other icons to default, as I've change some manually?

For example, I've change my iPhoto icon manually, but on the candybar page, it is set in the default icon. Doesn't it change the entire thing when you only want to change one or two?
