Photoshop opens at startup or when I connect iPad to iMac

Even though I have unchecked "Open at Login" on the Adobe Photoshop app and it is not listed for startup, it opens automatically when I start my iMac and when I connect my iPad. Any suggestions?

Double check your System Preferences -> Users & Groups > Login Items and make sure PS is not listed.

For your iPad opening PS problem check out this which could be the problem due to Image Capture's preferences:
