Hello! I need your help.

I haven't opened my computer for weeks and I just updated my OS to Mavericks. Then when I opened my Movies folder, all my files were gone! But other folders containing videos are fine though. And when I put it to "list" view, the names of the files can be seen but I cannot open it. This is how it looks like:

Also, when I click a movie directly from the file folder on my dock, it opens but there's a "converting..." word that appears on my quicktime player. I've been waiting for its conversion but still not working.
