Is there a way to alphabetize the bookmarks in each folder using OS 10.9.2?

Which browser are you using? Assuming Safari, open the side Bookmark bar and expand the bookmarks. Then highlight and move them into alphabetical order. If you're asking if there's an automated way of doing it, the answer is not that I know of.
