Software updates are available for the new iWork Apps:

Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. Looks like Apple may have added back scripting.

Also an update is available for Safari which includes some security fixes. Go get it folks!

A quick note about scripting... It's been turned back on for Pages as I just tried it out and it works. Click on the Pages top menu and select "Services". You see it there once more. I haven't tested it for Numbers or Keynote as I don't run scripts from either of those apps.

I have a script Brent that pulls data from another open application. For example: An application that would have data on history, world statistics, or just about anything. The only provision is that the other application that is open likewise has to support scripting through services.

Windows has supported that type of data interchange for years... all the way back to Win95. OS X likewise supports it through the use of scripting and services. That ability had been removed when Pages 5 appeared. It now has been added back.
