OS 10.4 - Imaging HD

Is there any way of imaging a mac hardisk like you would with a PC when using GHOST either HD - HD or HD - CDR/DVD

Yep: I've just started doing this with SuperDuper! as an emergency backup scheme.

You can also boot to your OS CD/DVD and use the disk utility on CD/DVD to image a volume ie a boot volume to an external usb or fw drive.
