Can i make an image of my hard drive?
    Hi all

is it possible to make an image of my mac hard drive (.img)

I have a G4 powerbook running OSX and I want to make an image of the hard drive so i can use it on my windows PC and test PearPC by using the hard drive image of my mac to run OSX on the pc via PearPC.

How would i go about making an image of my mac hard drive?

I'd assume you do it by going into Disk Utility, highlighting the hard drive, and clicking the "New Image" button, then choosing the type of image that corresponds to .img.
